ORION ONE

Your second brain. Your first executive.

A personal AI operating system you actually own — it remembers your work, and it executes.

The problem

Your assistant forgets you every session.

It lives in someone else's cloud.

It talks. It doesn't do.

What it is

A personal AI OS that runs where you do.

Self-hosted, on your own infrastructure, running your models. Your data never leaves your box. ORION reads context, holds memory, and takes action across the tools you already use.

About

The case for an AI you own.

Every assistant today is rented and forgetful — a chat box in someone else's cloud that resets each session. It lives on their servers, on their terms, and when the conversation ends, so does everything it knew about you.

Why we built it

Frustration, not a roadmap.

Every assistant we tried was rented — it lived in someone else's cloud, forgot everything between sessions, and could talk about work without ever doing it. For anyone whose day runs on context — what happened yesterday, what's due today, who's waiting on what — a forgetful chat box is worse than nothing.

We wanted an executive that remembers, runs on infrastructure we control, and actually acts. Nothing on the market did that without asking us to hand over our data first. So we built it — and kept it, because we couldn't work without it anymore.

How it's built

An engine, and a stack of Markdown.

ORION runs on Hermes, an open agent runtime — the engine that loads skills, holds memory, and schedules work. Every capability is a skill: a plain Markdown file of instructions the agent loads on demand, so the system grows by writing docs, not code.

Hermes runtime

Loads skills, memory, and scheduling — fully inspectable.

Skills as Markdown

Drop in a file, it's available. No SDK, no ceremony.

Model-agnostic

Any model, local or cloud. Reached over Telegram + CLI.

Dogfooded

Self-hosted and used daily for months before launch.

Philosophy

Your data never leaves your box.

Privacy, ownership, and no lock-in aren't features bolted on — they're the premise. ORION is open source so you can read every line, run it yourself, and trust it because you can verify it.

The builder

Dogfooded, not a concept.

ORION ONE is built by Karuppan at DestroSec as a real daily driver — the executive assistant its maker actually relies on every day, refined in use before it was ever shown.

Skills

A platform, not a bot.

Capabilities are skills — composable, inspectable, and yours to extend.

Write your own

A skill is just a Markdown file.

Write instructions the agent loads on demand — progressive disclosure. Drop it in, and it's available. No SDK, no ceremony.
